AoL Process
AoL is the systematic processes for determining and revising degree program learning goals, improving curricula to achieve learning goals, and demonstrating that learning goals have been met.
The AoL process, summarized in the figure above, starts with CBA Mission, Vision, and Values. From this, The Academic Affairs Committee at CBA determines the learning goals and objectives for the undergraduate program, and periodically reviews these goals to ensure currency and relevance. The Director of the Curriculum Management Unit (CMU)facilitates the collection of data for each point of assessment and distributes the assessment results to the Academic Affairs Committees at each department respectively. The Academic Affairs Committee analyze the results of the assessments, and a list of recommendations are then provided to the CMU on an annual basis. The academic affairs committee handles any program recommendations or changes for the program.
